HSE:
Demonstrates personal commitment and knowledge of the Company HSE Policy by maintaining awareness and ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and company standards.
Continuous verification and implementation of safety procedures and rules related to specific tasks such as material handling, storage and disposal.
Conducts, toolbox talks, safety greenlights, trains workers on safe and environmentally friendly work practices, and methods.
Verifies conformity of all lifting gears (inbound/outbound) in strict compliance with Affiliate’s LMS (Lifting Management System).
Ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in a safe and compliant manner in accordance with company waste and chemical management plans and local regulations.
Incorrect or unsafe conditions at the workplace are immediately stopped, informed (observation cards) and corrected.
Support HSE Superintendent to verification and follow up of safety equipment i.e., fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, AED’s.
Promotes the waste management “5 R principles” of hierarchy, i.e.: Reduce, Recover, Reuse, Recycle, and Residue disposal.
Organization:
Manages up to five (5) Contract positions.
Ensures that an effective working schedule and handovers are carried out at shift change.
Operational:
Supervises warehouse day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Participates in the elaboration and follow up of warehousing procedures in accordance with company rules.
Ensures safe delivery of cargo to/from offshore and liaises with Vendors to rectify any non-compliant cargo.
Guarantees delivering materials according to the specifications and the required delivery times.
Ensures accurate record-keeping of all material movements (receipts and issues) and ensures timely recordings.
Verifies that shelves SWL’s (Safe Workload) are clearly visible and strictly adhered to.
Compiles all shelving certificates and in coordinator with APLO, arranges statutory inspections.
Maintains adequate housekeeping of shelves, crates, boxes, pallets and other materials stored at the warehouse.
Stock Management:
Ensures materials (including dangerous goods) are safely stored and preserved according to Company rules and local regulations.
Ensures maintenance and inspection of stock items are performed as per QA/QC requirements.
Ensure materials provided/received from/to the warehouse are in accordance with user requests.
Manages the physical stock of materials according to Company rules with appropriate software (reception, dispatch, storage, integration, reintegration, inventory, scrap, preservation, etc.).
Support monthly and annual stock inventories.
Coordinates the warehouse stock replenishment.
Ensures that there is an immediate update of all material movements in SAP.
Monitors that items not recorded in SAP are properly followed and replenished, if required.
Methods:
User of Kabal (ex Wellit) Logistics management system for cargo package preparation.
Ensures that physical stock management procedures are implemented and adhered to.
Prepares KPI’s for the warehouse activities and space utilization to measure storage efficiency.
Contractors’ Management:
Oversee Contractors’ compliance with approved procedures.
Ensures, in cooperation with Contractor, maintenance of the warehouses.
Supervises, evaluates, and trains employees assigned to the warehouse.
Responsible for the preparation, dispatch, and reception (including the return) of warehouse materials and equipment.
Accountable for the HSE performance of all warehousing material and fuel management activities.
Ensures availability/suitability of material is met with operational requests.
