Job Description

You are accountable for ensuring prevention and mitigation of risks to our personnel, assets, the environment and our Company reputation, and compliant with all standards, rules and other requirements imposed by Company, Regulators, Clients and other relevant Stakeholders in your region.
You will drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement, mitigating risks and ensuring that all operations meet or exceed Company, Client and regulatory requirements.
Your role is critical in safeguarding the health and safety of employees, the environment, and the overall integrity of the company’s operations.
You develop, implement, and maintain robust health and safety policies, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company standards.
You ensure that risk assessments are developed for all operational activities and that effective control measures are implemented to mitigate potential hazards.
You ensure that all operations comply with environmental regulations, developing strategies for minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainability.
You lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
You stay updated on HSSE regulations and industry best practices, ensuring the company’s operations remain compliant.
You track HSSE performance metrics, analyze trends, and report findings to senior management, recommending improvements where necessary.
You collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with HSSE goals and objectives.
You lead initiatives to continuously improve HSSE standards, driving a culture of safety and operational excellence.
You lead a team of several HSSE leads and/or HSSE engineers and ensure they have right level of expertise and sufficient growth opportunities.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSSE management, preferably within the offshore oil and gas industry or other high-risk sectors such as petrochemicals, mining, or heavy industry. Proven experience in managing HSSE aspects of complex operational activities, such as drilling, production, and logistics, with a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and risk management.
