Job Description

A Medic must provide appropriate, efficient, and timely pre-hospital Advanced, Intermediate and Basic Life Support care to the sick and injured, offshore and in accordance with local, state, national, international standards of practice. The Medic is authorized to manage the Sickbay, Pharmacy, relevant Stock Control, Alcohol and Drug tests, and appropriate record keeping.
The Medic also provides highly professional service in the areas of radio communications, safety education, health, and safety compliance, purchasing, clerical records keeping and reporting, and other responsibilities that may be necessary on an offshore installation.

Requirements
  • Medical certification by nationally recognized organization to Nurse standard (higher qualification desirable).
  • 3 years’ experience in Incident and Emergency Nursing with offshore experience preferred.
  • ATS/ALS certified.
  • Practical computer skills, in particular Management System-Excel, Management System-Word.

  • Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level according to the CEFR international standard Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
