Assistant Storekeeper

Job Description

The Assistant Storekeeper will ensure that stores, materials and stock are available, easily and accurately identified and that actual stock amounts reflect the records kept.
They will liaise fully with the Storekeeper where stock movement is concerned.
They will always use safe handling procedures and ensure stocks are secured to prevent damage injury or loss.

Requirements
  • 3 years’ experience in the Marine or Petroleum Industry with 1 year in a technical discipline with FPSO exposure preferred.
  • Experienced with materials inventory control systems.
  • Basic understanding of materials, purchasing and stock management procedures.
  • Qualified to trade or technician level in a technical discipline.
  • Working Knowledge of CMMS.
  • Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore..
