Job dimensions:
Working under Lead Drilling Engineer umbrella, within the Operations Division
PSC contract on Block 58 (50%, TE Operator, partnered by Apache 50%), currently closing exploration & appraisal phase and pursuing pre-development phase.
PSC Contract on Blocks 6&8 (40%, TE Operator, partnered by QE 20% and Paradise Oil Company 40%), currently preparing explorationphase.
Planned PSC Contract on Block 64 (40%, TE Operator, partnered by QE 30% and Petronas 40%), currently on the exploration phase.
+40 contracts preparation to cover Exploration campaign in 2025 for 1 firm deepwater well on B64 and 1 firm shallow water on B6/8well with parallel drilling activities preparation and operation: ownership of multi-blocks Services Contracts (+500 MUSD Budget)
Budget (ref IB24 ): 500 M$ (100%) affiliate / 100 M$ (100% OPS)
Purpose:
Assist on wells design and preparation throughout Conceptual Phase (3W), Technical Phase (PDR, PPR, WSOR) for the Block 64, Block 6&8 exploration and appraisal campaign
Assist on preparation of the regulatory documents and on getting approvals from Partners and Authorities.
Provide engineering and methods support within the Drilling and Wells department
Support DCSI during drilling operations

HSE:
Cascade Department HSE objectives in related activity
Ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company QHSE standards. Prepare derogations accordingly
Participate in major risks identification and associated mitigations with the Affiliate (TRA updates, BOCP follow up)
In the course of the Emergency Response is the part of IMT Operations Section leader in all HSE aspects of the operations youāll manage and strive for an incident free environment.
Technical:
Assist on implementation of drilling, completion, workover, or interventions program in line with our referential.
Report the operational outcome and liaise permanently with the base.
Be part of the Drilling Improvement Process in order to improve our operational efficiency.
Carry out drilling, completion, and workover engineering studies (design the well architecture, prepare well completion & subsea & well intervention program....)
Support ongoing drilling, completion, and workover projects in the subsidiaries.
Prepare technical documents and participate in meetings/presentations with authorities and partners.
Follow up project planning and ensure technical procedures and referential are followed.
Be part of the daily operations follow up (cost, performance ...) and propose improvements.
Participate in goods and services calls for tenders, writing technical specifications and evaluating technical proposals
Management and interfaces:
Manage service companies on site and coordinate activities.
