Job Description
The Finance Manager is responsible for the end-to-end Finance activities at country level, ensuring accurate financial representation, full compliance with statutory and Group requirements, effective internal controls, and high-quality financial operations.
The role acts as the primary Finance counterpart and business partner to local management, supporting decision-making and performance delivery, while ensuring full alignment with SBM Group Finance standards, policies, systems, and governance.
In addition, the Finance Manager coordinates HR and BAS activities in country from a functional and operational standpoint, ensuring alignment with Group frameworks and smooth day-to-day operations, for these functions.
Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
Oversee accounting operations and the preparation of statutory financial statements.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory filings, and fiscal obligations.
Coordinate local and Group audits and ensure proper execution and closure of audit requirements

Treasury & Operational Finance
Manage cash flow forecasting and support local banking activities in line with Group treasury rules.
Ensure effective local treasury controls and cash management processes.
Oversee reliable Source-to-Pay execution, ensuring invoice accuracy, supplier payment integrity, and adherence to approval workflows.

Internal Control & Governance
Implement, maintain, and monitor the Internal Control Matrix (ICM) in line with Group standards.
Ensure effective segregation of duties and reinforce a strong compliance and control culture at country level.

Business Partnering & Performance Support
Act as the Finance business partner to Country Management, providing financial analysis, insights, and support for operational and strategic decision-making.
Support performance monitoring, cost control, and financial discipline across country activities.

Systems, Data & Process Excellence
Ensure readiness and effective use of Group ERP and finance systems, maintaining high data quality and process compliance.
Drive continuous improvement and harmonization of finance processes across Record-to-Report and operational finance activities.

People & Cross-Functional Coordination
Lead and develop the local Finance team, ensuring capability building, performance management, and operational continuity.
Coordinate HR and BAS activities at country level, ensuring alignment with Group processes and service providers.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent (required).
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent) preferred.
7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
Solid exposure to statutory reporting, tax, and audit environments
Proven experience leading small finance teams
Experience in consulting or complex/multi-entity environments is an advantage
