Job Description
Under general supervision, performs electrical and instrumentation design and drafting activities for industrial and oil & gas projects. Develops and updates P&IDs, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, termination diagrams, junction box layouts, earthing and lighting layouts. Prepares instrument index, I/O lists, cable block diagrams and basic control system layouts. Supports FEED and detailed engineering phases. Ensures designs comply with applicable international standards, project specifications and client requirements. Assists in site surveys, red-line incorporation and as-built documentation. Works closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams.
Requirements
Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or Automation.
Minimum 3 years of experience in E&I design for industrial or oil & gas projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Ability to prepare and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring and termination drawings.
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and ISA standards.
Good understanding of control systems, field instrumentation and electrical distribution.
Strong attention to detail and document control discipline.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
